How does one do taxes when you're living in Ireland, and performing remote work for a US company?
Like a pretty regular gig, so not a once off job.
Self Employed.

It depends on the type of work you do. And your contract with the company, which will hopefully state things like how the expect the deliverables and how much contro they exert over you in your performance of your duties.

You need to disclose a lot of information, so throw it all out but exclude companz name. You do need to give a ballpark idea of the remuneration in the contract though.

Thanks, this is the answer:

you will more than likely need to set up a company or go in under an umbrella structure and pay PAYE, PRSI etc that way. I would suggest contacting one of the contracting agencies in Ireland who might be able to help advise.

All that nonsense that the US company should register here for PAYE is pie-in-the-sky archaic stuff.
