I heard the offer for the above on radio and note that it is only being offered to existing members whose renewal date falls January or February 2017.
Below is from the FAQ's on the website
If a customer renewed/bought a policy on December 31st, can they get the free travel insurance offer? No. The free travel insurance offer is only for those members that join or renew on January 1st – February 28th 2017.
Whilst it is good to see the company offering something to existing customers (to retain their business, unlike the utilities) It strikes me as being unfair to all those customers whose renewal falls outside the offer dates.
I would like to take the matter up with Irish Life and was wondering before doing so had any other posters on this site made contact with them and if so what was the outcome. Also any suggestions as to how to approach them on the matter would be appreciated.
