Irish Equity-CGT-UK

I have a couple of irish properties with equity that can be released. I am a Irish Citizen and resident in the UK for tax purposes.
If I was to release the equity from Ireland and bring it to UK to buy a property for me to live in is that a goo or a bad way to use the equity?
Secondly if I was to dispose off the Irish House/houses, What would my situation be as far as the CGT is concerned in Ireland.UK??
 
You are liable for CGT in ireland see here Not sure about the UK. I'm sure you will get a credit against any liablity due in the UK
