A relative has a number of shares with a bank quoted on the London Stock Exchange. These was bought many years ago when they were living in the UK and managed through the bank broker. Now the person has retired and wants to sell the shares, a small amount less than €2000. However the bank's broker won't help to sell off these shares as they don't have a UK bank account, etc.
Is there an Irish broker that one would recommend? They just want to engage in a once-off transaction and not become a client.
Thanks in advance.
