A friend of mine has invested 1.5 million in a site. He is in the process of getting planning. The area where he invested is a growing area and planning will not be a problem.
I would like to invest in this also. I can afford 300K. What is the best way to work this with him? What are my options?
I am aware that there is a risk in that there is no planning yet.
If I go ahead with this obviously there will be contracts drawn up.
I am thinking if I invest 300K should I
a) have a % stake
b) have a buy out clause where the max I can make is 400K
etc etc
What is the best way to go about this?
