But the expenses involved - travel, legal fees, management company etc. would eat into my profits.
The language barrier and different legal systems could result in some unexpected difficulties. And if something does go wrong I'm too far away to intervene and take charge.
Are there any property funds that I could invest in instead?
I know the return is a lot less but I wouldn't be putting all by eggs in one basket.
