Investment Account Options for a Child

Hi,

I would like to gift a once-off small amount (~€1,000) to my nephew by placing this in an investment product until he reaches 18. My preference is that the parents would not have access to the account however I have not been able to find a suitable service.

Would anyone have suggestions? ETFMatic allow establishment of child accounts but only if you are the parent/legal guardian. Irish Life have regular-saver investment products but no once-off facility...
