I have a lump sum (children's allowance) that I was hoping to invest for my child and was considering sure investor with the post office bank does anyone know anything about this?

You can invest €500+ for a term of 5 years in a basket of 20 Stocks.

It is a 'tracker bond' and has an annnual charge of 1.5%.

Your capital is guaranteed + 2.5%.

The growth on the stocks is capped at 75%.

It closes tomorrow. Take your time.

If you are investing for the medium/long term then you should also at least consider an open ended, low charges, unit linked fund. There are lots of existing threads about saving CB and other funds for childrens' futures.
