Investing in funds

Have a funds account with rabodirect which, when I first started it had great time as was making lots of profit (never cashed any in so never got any benefit). Now of course everyithing in the red. However, thinking, taking a long term view, is it a good time to by in the hope that in 4/5 years could make a good profit??

Any advice would be appreciated.
