At least you got a letter informing you that the bank had refused mediation. With my recent case with the FSOB I was asked if I was willing to enter mediation with the bank, I informed them I was and that was the last I heard of the mediation process. 13 weeks later I was informed that an investigation had commenced and a finding was issued six months later. My case was relatively straightforward.
