International Bonds for Irish Business

Morning all,

I was wondering if somebody might be able to help with the possibilities of accessing an international surety / guarantee instrument for doing business with an overseas ( German ) business partnership.

The crux of the situation is, our business is shortly entering into a partnership with a German company, ( field of logistics ) and part of the contract is that our Irish company puts in place a surety of €20,000 - to cover our business closing and the Germans being left with unpaid invoices.

AIB ( our bankers ) dont offer such instruments and other Irish guarantee / surety providers dont offer these instruments either.

Would anybody perhaps know of any banks ( perhaps Deutsche ) that offer international sureties ?
