Hi, I'm looking for oak internal doors. Does anyone know what is the average price of oak doors and stockists in Donegal/Derry area.
 
You can get Deanta pre hung door kits in Donegal for 270 euro each...thats what I opted for and was happy with that...I believe you can get the Oak door for 99 euro from the same supplier.
 
Sorry don't mind my ignorance but when you say a door kit - is this a prefinished door with architrave?
 
Door will come pre finished and varnished in door frame inc handle etc and architrave to be fitted...fitting from my supplier cost 60 euro though I already had a carpenter for the job and did not engage him. Wish I hadnt as he's now trying to charge me a fitting fee of 200 euro per door.The whole point of the exercise is that it should be a quicker job as the bulk of the work has already been done.
 
God 200 euro to fit a door is crazy especially in present times. a friend is fitting mine as a favour so at least don't have to worry about that.
