Conversations are better.

In the old system, it was not easy to see who you were talking to. For example, if I started a private conversation with Sue and Leo, it might not be obvious to Sue that Leo was included.

Now all three participants appear to the right hand side very prominently.

When you quote a post, it gives you a link to the post which is very helpful in long threads where you are not sure the context in which the quote was made.

There is a little like button which gives you 6 options - as an illustration, I have suggested that I am "angry" at your post.

So the reaction is the cumulative score. Not sure if my being angry reduces your reaction by 1.

I only have quote and reply for some reason, would it be because I am only new?

You are correct once your status goes from "New Member" to "Registered User" the "Like" option appears and enables you to post reactions!
