What banks give 100% interest only mortgages for investment in property and would they give it to buy 2 or three houses. Also do they give it for 5, 10, 15, 25 years
In short, no-one! No banks will offer 100% interest only mortgages on investment properties, I think the max you would get is probably 80-85%, and with an interest rate rise on the cards today, I can see the LTV % probably going downwards
Sorry clubman, The 5, 10 15 etc was for the duration of the interest only mortgage. What is the longest duration the banks will give for interest only. Did the rates go up today I missed the news headlines
The longest period would be 25 years in my exp with Permanent TSB, and sorry for confusion, I meant to say .25% interest rate is expected tomorrow as in Thursday
