But on Googling it to see if there were any international precedents for it, I find that the IFF commissioned researchers in Waterford Institute of Technology to compile a book on the topic.

It's written in EUese which I am find very difficult to read. It seems to be more about using one's home to fund retirement rather than my suggestion of using one's pension fund to buy a home.
