Hi I am looking for a single trip policy to cover a family trip to the usa for 44 days later this year. I am finding it difficult to find one which covers strike. I am terrified that the air traffic controllers will strike when we are due to go (july). Also I am currently expecting a baby buy baby will be born six weeks before the trip so I will need to either put baby on policy now or add at a later stage.

also if there is a air traffic controllers strike does anyone know if the airlines have any obligation to get us on our way asap - flying with air France on a delta flight ?

We have medical insurance with laya so should get a discount
Thanks

If the air traffic controllers are on strike, how will any planes be operating?

My insurance excludes strikes but only if they were public knowledge when i booked my flight, which yours isn't.

I got my insurance through ebookers via

Haven't had to claim yet so no idea on how they handle claims, and I've only purchased annual multi-trip so no idea how they fare price wise against others.
