Question for any plumbers out there.
I would love to put a stove in my sitting room to replace my open fire. Will I be allowed to have the flue from the stove go up my already existing chimney? Also there is gas heating my radiators at the moment. Is it possible to set it up so that my stove or gas can heat the radiators?

Yes a stove flue can use the chimney, as long as it is sealed. anything is possible depending on much you are willing to spend. everything depends on locatin of hot press to stove and if your current system is sealed or open vented. Heat exchangers are becoming more common to enable a stove to indirectly heat hot water and heating system. A good installer will advice and give options.
