Sorry folks. I will edit my post to make it more meaningful.

Does anyone here know about injunctions. As per previous, our supervising engineer made huge mistakes with our renovation resulting in 80k remedial work. The were issues with foundations, suitability, lack of certification etc. Parts of our house, including our attic conversation and our kitchen extension were deemed to not be safe - lack of correct supports, our roof had to be entirely redone. A certificate of compliance was given by the engineer when the house clearly wasn't compliant. He made mistakes on planning. Our house still doesn't comply fully, and may be difficult to sell in the future.

So, we wrote a bad google review, stating the facts as above, and as verified by numerous reports from new Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor and Planning Consultant. Initially he threatened to sue us for defamation, through his solicitor, until we reminded him of all the supporting documentation we had to support everything we said. His solicitor wrote to Google but the post wasn't taken down. Now they are threatening us with injunctions to remove the post. Previously, the engineer threatened not to give us our Planning Cert unless we withdrew our complaint from his professional body. In the end we discovered he couldn't give us the Cert anyway as he was only an associate engineer.

Are they likely to get an injunction - are we only allowed to do positive reviews now.
