Inheritance Tax question

I inherited a site from my father valued at 150,000 in 2007.At the time the CAT threshold was 496,824.So this left me with 346,826 of tax free inheritance left.

I see the rate has now changed to €332,084 in the last budget.Does this mean I have only 182,084 tax free inheritance left,or does the fact I inherited the site in 2007 when the threshold was higher have any bearing?

You only have 182,084 tax free left now - each subsequent inheiritence is evaluated against the limits in force on the date of the inheritence.
