Information on college for parents

Does anybody know if there are any publications / guides about college that would be useful for parents?

I am looking for stuff like what different colleges are available, information on the CAO process, college grants, etc.

Your child's career guidance teacher should have all this information. However, you could start by looking at the Dept. of Education website (www.education.ie). The CAO has a very good website and produces a good booklet - www.cao.ie
Grants are processed by your own local authority.

Your child shouldl have a copy of the Student Yearbook and Career Directory, it's packed with all this information.
