I am looking to get a valuation on my home for family law purposes. I am already legally separated, the family home is long sorted, and I just need a valuation of my own home for vouching for Affidavitt of Means purposes. Just wondering who does "kerbside" valuations of houses in west Dublin area? I have got a quote for €350 + VAT from a large estate agent locally that I consider extortionate. Can ahyone recommend a home valuer in West Dublin? Thank you in advance
 
What is the valuation to be used for? Is there any consequence for you if it's incorrect, either too high or too low?

(€350 + VAT doesn't sound particularly extortionate.)
 
In the past few years I have had valuations done for family law and probate purposes for free in Dublin.
 
If a couple of similar properties have sold recently, use them as examples.

Their selling price will be on propertypriceregister.ie
