Does anyone know what the tax arrangements are if you move to Australia to live for more than half of the year while working remotely for an Irish company being paid euro into an Irish bank account as an Irish citizen? Do you continue to pay full paye in Ireland or does your residency change and you are due to pay income tax in Australia?

You can get paid for that? Wow, just wow!! :)

You can in Australia. Sex work is legal in most parts of Australia but I hope the OP isn't invloved with brothels as they are illegal in most parts of Australia.

Now... coming back to the OP's question about income tax/Irish company and Australia... call Revenue and ask them what their position  is with regard to the whole loving situation...

I hope the word "loving" was a slip of the pen, if not? As for calling revenue about unusual tax questions? I've found a few times that the person I talk to and the person i'm then put in touch with know nothing and aren't too interested in getting the appropriate information either. On the other hand, when the question is within their capabilities they'll do everything for you. I also found that if you ask them their name that it's a very good way of being helped.

This is probably a question that your employer will need to sort out as it is they who will operate, or not operate, the PAYE. If I were advising the employer I'd be suggesting that the employer apply for a PAYE exclusion order which would permit the employer not to operate PAYE. The Revenue are familiar with exclusion orders as it is their document. I'm not sure what the situation is for six months though.

Auz taxes may also need to be considered.
