If I want to import a brand new category C vehicle (large van) can you please tell me how the VAT is calculated (if there is any) and roughly how much the Common Customs Tariff would be (I saw this on the revenue's site for traders, it wasn't mentioned for individuals though). Also, is there a limit on how many vehicles can be brought in to the country in a year or at once e.g. motorbikes in a van, or any restrictions on how long you have to keep it before selling it on? Neither the revenue's site nor oasis give this information. Thanks
