Just seeking some light on this - all our employees have contracts stating their wages as per the law of the land.
If the min wage is reduced to say €7.65/hour, how do the established companies with staff on pay well above that compete with let's say a 'start-up' in the same field of business with lower employment costs?
Are we all to implement a lower wage/cut wages along the current guidlines of NERA et al - negotiate etc which can be very protracted and by the time you get through this the competition has claimed your patch??
If you want to move quickly to review wages to maintain competitiveness will your life be full of dates with the LRC??
