Hi Due to havign PND I have been claiming illness benefit for the past few months. Due to my job profile and stress levels at work, my occupational health GP has told me it would be best to find another less stressful job, possibly part time. Now I know jobs are like gold dust at the minute, but as it is I am not fit for work right now. BUT I do want to go back to work again, once fit and able. hopefully with a new position, this will happen sooner rather than later.
My question is when I give notice to my employer (meeting to be held next week), what changes do I need to do in relation to
my illness benefit claim? I have been signed off for another 2 months at least, with a review again at the end.
