The Irish Times states that less that 5% of all credit card holders make only the monthly minimum repayment thus accumulating credit card debt. In spite of this the IFSRA report concentrates on this issue. Surely they could use their resources to target more widespread and serious issues other than this?

shop around

They do - like using resources to show people that if you shop around for car insurance you can save money - wow! Lately they are offering a prize of a Eur1000 shopping spree on pigsback.com if you answer a question relating to their surveys. Methinks this is a waste of money and time, people that surf the net and go to websites such as pigsback do not need to be told to shop around.
