We have censored a few words to wreck the links of spammers and replaced them with the word "spam" or *********.

For example, if you write f i t n e s s in a post without the gaps between the letters it will be replaced by the word "spam"

So just edit the word

There are a few other words which we might do the same to e.g. skincare

We borrowed the loan of Kerr's ****

Thanks again for that. I found a solution which parks all new posts with links in them for approval.

We have been experimenting with it and it's working well. Very few genuine new users are trying to include links, which was my main worry.

We are still getting a lot of spam with links, but only the moderators see it.

There is still spam without links getting through, but not that much.
