If you got a few months contract work in UK, could you still get JSB after?

My husband is being made redundant after ten years working, but has the possibility of three months contract work in UK when he finishes up.

What happens when contract finishes if he can't find anything else - will that 3 months in the uk stop him claiming JSB?

There shouldn't be a problem, as long as he has the stamps etc and can satisfy that he is at that point genuinely seeking and available for work. There may be implications if he were to stay there longer, but for 3 months work there shouldn't be a problem.
