If I continue to pay PRSI in Ireland after 'retirement' age can I still claim UK Pension?

I'm eligible to pay Class 3 (£824) and can pay the 4 years to get the minimum 10 year portion of £52.90 a week.
I'll be 60 this year.

Am I still eligible to get the UK pension, if I'm still contributing to PRSI contributions here beyond my retirement age?

Or do the UK pension base the release of the pension solely on your age when the time comes?

I'll only 'break even' after I've been receiving 62 weeks of my1/10th of the UK pension.

Yes, once you have at least 520 paid PRSI contributions.

Neither Ireland nor the UK clarify this very well but many AAM posters can confirm that receipt of both pensions is possible.

I would buy as many voluntary NI contributions as I can.
