Bought the above network printer, however it wont recognise the cartridges, keeps saying that they are empty. I have replaced them with new to no avail. Printer was never used.

The company I bought it from closed three days after I bought the machine!.

Is there a place where I can leave it in to be fixed?
 
If you bought it new get on to HP, you should have no problems with the
Warranty. HP will also fix it if out of warrently. They had a fixed price system a few years ago, but you would want to check. It may be cheaper to skip it.
 
I havent registered it yet! just took the plastic out of the box.

I'll call hp and see what happens.
