How to uninstall integrated dishwasher and then fit new

Hi

My new dishwasher is being delivered on Thursday. The delivery man will take away the old one if it is disconnected from power/water supply and empty of water.

I can see the plug and water supply so assume no hassle there. The kickboard is not fixed so moves easily and the door is unscrewed easily enough (I watched the repair man do it several times). Is there anything else I need to do with an integrated machine?

NEXT - can I connect the new one myself? Is it all of the above in reverse? Any hints or tips would be appreciated.

Easy to reconnect.

But first, you will need to unscrew the door of the unit from the dishwasher.

That door has to be reconnected to the new dishwasher. Here is where you could have a problem.

The door has to be aligned bang on or the unit will look awful for ever more. If you have no experience doing this you will need help, or possible a set of clamps to hold the door in place while you drill it to the dishwasher.

Make sure the hooks for the panel for the new dishwasher are in the same place as the old one.
I fitted my own dishwasher, took about 1 hour.

Try to get them to take the packaging too.
