Re: Help please Females

I got some shelves put into my wardrobe - when you open the wardrobe door there's 7 shelves which holds 4 pairs of shoes per shelf - perfect!

Re: Help please Females

You can buy those wooden self assembly 'rack' things too - tend to have canvas flaps covering the different sections.

Mac, (male), just out of curiosty, how many pair of shoes, boots and knee high boots do you own? ;)

Re: Help please Females

I keep them in the boxes, or at least the really expensive ones, under the bed is handy so the OH can't count them!

You only have 28 pairs of shoes!! What kind of a female are you, my god.

Re: Help please Females

I keep all mine in their original boxes and store in bottom of wardrobes or under the bed.

Re: Help please Females

I bought underbed storage drawers in argos -good because shoes are stored flat. I have clear plastic boxes for more special shoes.

I keep 85% of mine in their boxes but beginning to think maybe just maybe I have tooooo many , a girl can never have too many shoes!

NYC1, 4 shelves in bottom of my wardrobe and my clothes wouldn't hang properly. Its one of them double glass sliding door ones. Large hanging area, 2 shelves above rail.

Storage boxes under the bed are definitely an option I will consider. Would be handy if they were see through as well.

I keep the original boxes and store them there. Not a typical girlie though, have very basic shoe supplies, one for work, one for dress, one pair of knee highs that cover just about all bases, two pairs of trainers (runners to you) a couple of pairs of black leather ankle boots and a pair of pink leather slip ons that seemed like a good idea at the time.

Mind you...ask me about handbags and that's a whole other story

I got them in Belfast but I'll be getting more as soon as the Dublin branch opens (or I can be bothered going to Belfast again). I'd previously bought one of those extendable shoe racks but it only held about 20 pairs of shoes and kept falling apart so I was left with a heap of shoes.

You could try [broken link removed] crowd too. Based in Harold's Cross - don't know much about them.

(Not a girl either BTW)

A pair of durty trainers, two pairs of socks (one good one for de weekend disco, the other to keep me at work during the week). One pair of those knee high boots (wellington is the brand name, got them for 15 euro in the Co-op if you MUST know).

Also have a pair of black patent leather shoes - only to be used for funerals and weddings.

Right so girlies, if your at the weekend disco and you happen to see a guy in a pair of durty trainers or knee high boots, wellington brand, don't avoid him, make sure to buy that guy a drink. It's MacTheKnife1 ;)
