Hi,

I'm wondering how to go about selling Kerry Group shares. They are my mom's shares and she's had them for years. They are on a paper cert.

Thanks

Paper certs have been done away with.
Your mum should have got a statement of holding in the last few weeks.
This is after the Kerry co-op shares were turned into Kerry group shares.
You would need to send that off to a stockbroker, probably open an account with them.
You don't have to sell them all at the one time.

Hi, I am in a similar position with a former paper share cert, I have inherited these shares and want to sell some. I currently have both a Degiro account and a Trading212 account. Was wondering about having the shares transferred to one of these or should I use a different broker based here in ireland. If so, can anyone recommend one to use

I don't think Degiro deal with paper certs,
I transferred some of mine to Goodbodys and sold them that way.
I already had an account with Goodbodys, so that made it easier.
More expensive of course.

I believe you can dematerialise (digitise) the paper share certificate through Davy Stockbrokers and then Degiro would accept the digitised shares where you could then sell them yourself. Davy charge a fee of €98.40 fee for any lodgement valued at under €20,000.
