How to hook up Laptop

I have a Desktop PC and works via Smart telecom with a cabel,4 mb speed, now I have got laptop that is wireless, as I want to use laptop anywhere in the house,what are my options ,do I need to just buy an wireless antenna, if so where is best value is one better than another, can Desktop and laptop both work same time on internet,

You need a dsl modem/wireless router.

Otherwise you can buyone, but will then have to set it up & support it yourself.
