How to corrupt c\Drive

I've divided my hdd into two partitions with an image of the c\drive on the second partition using drive image xml. I have drive image xml on a bootable disc.The ultimate test is to now make windows(xp) unbootable and see if I can re-image the c\drive from the other partition.How can I now make windows unbootable?

delete the system folder, that should do it.

Seriously, if you have to ask this, do you really know why you're doing this experiment?

Just remove the bootable tag using fdisk (or whatever program you are using)

For the test just place a small file somewhere on c and see if it is gone on reimage. No need to be trashing windows itself.

Thanks for that suggestion davidoco.I created an empty folder which disappeared when I reimaged(a heart stopping experience) but all is exactly as it was.

If still interested, you could have always edited the boot.ini file and edit the OS path on this file.
