Could anyone please offer advice on the following?
I plan to retire later this year when I will be 65.
My retirement fund will amount to about €660,000 made up as follows:
(1). €320,000 in personal pension funds (RACs)
(2). €340,000 in savings (deposits, PO savings certificates, managed funds, etc)
I plan to claim Contributory State (Retirement) Pension when I am 65.
I am married (wife aged 62) with no other dependents, so our retirement fund will have to support two people. We own our home and have no outstanding debts.
Any suggestions as to how I should deploy my retirement fund (annuities, ARF, savings drawdown, etc)?
