How Many Hours per Week for a "Stamp"?

Hi,

My mother works part-time. Due to a recent illness, she has had to cut back on her hours and now only works 16 hours per week. She wants to know how many hours she has to work per week to "get a stamp" and keep up her state pension entitlements. This is the old terminology, I'm not sure how to explain it in our current taxation system.

You can tell her that it doesn't matter how many hours she works, as the "stamp" is now a % of her earnings.
