We have had an order for possession made in our favour in the Circuit Court on the 6th of this month. The order was for vacant posession on the 1st of January as the tenant (commercial) reckoned he doesn't have the money to pay the judgement for unpaid rent (Judge had considered giving him 6 months to vacate if he paid the back rent up front now and he had maintained all along that if we would just sign a new lease with him that He had the money to give to us immediately as he has been "putting it aside every month"). There was no appeal made within 14 days so our solicitor says we wait until the 1st and if he's not gone we have to get the County Sheriff in to remove him. My question is, how long does it take at the moment to get the Dublin County Sheriff in to remove someone?
