This came up in another post.

The mortgage is a1.1% tracker and the isi wrote to me to say they were giving it back to me.

What happens in practice?

Does the Assignee put his names on the deeds when the property vests in him?
And when he transfers it, what paperwork is needed?

I am the original OP.
I got a letter from land comission. saying they were registered on the land portfolio as owner.

CHRISTOPER LEHANE (OFFICIAL ASSIGNEE) of Insolvency Service of
Ireland, Block 2, Phoenix House, Conyngham Road, Dublin 8 is
full owner as tenant-in-common of 1 undivided 1/2 share(s).

But he has written to you saying he has no further interest in it.

My question is - how do you get the property into your name?

When declared bankrupt in the high court, they did everything. I am assuming they do it all again now.

The below quotes come from page 18 of the Bankruptcy FAQs published by the Insolvency Service of Ireland:

"If your interest in your family home is in negative equity and the Official Assignee has not issued proceedings seeking sale of the family home within 3 years of the date of adjudication of bankruptcy, the family home may re-vest in you, subject to any existing mortgage."

"Your interest in your family home automatically transfers without need of any conveyance back to you, as does the mortgage."
