How do I record a foreign rental loss on form F11?

The system doesn't allow expenses greater than gross income!!! Do I simply put zero then deduct the loss from next years profit?
 
I have encountered this also. You can do as you said ( putting expenses to value of income leaving zero net income) and make a note in the additional information box to explain that there is a loss going forward.
 
Thanks for the reply Graham. I had phoned the Revenue before I saw the reply and they said the same. They basically said just to make sure I had record of the loss.
