how do I calculate net pay from gross pay?

So if you get a public service pension after 35 years and do not work you still have to pay prsi every week on the pension? This till you get to 66? Is this correct

As I understand yes you have to pay. The bad news is that you may also be liable for Universal Social Charge if your pension is over €13,000 p.a.

Thanks Duck it's just on post about you were quite clear no prsi. Thanks anyway.... More confused now about net pay... Can't work it out at all... Cheers

Are you sure?
I understood that there is no prsi payable on income from an occupational pension scheme, regardless of age?
But any other income would be subject to prsi.
