For anyone that has had their debts passed onto debt collectors - what has your experience been like with these people?
I've had two years of getting my finances back on track but along the way some of my bank debts were passed on to debt collectors. To be honest I found them easier to deal with than the banks but maybe that's because I agreed a payment figure with them. I've heard some scare mongering stories but I've yet to come across anything out of the ordinary.
