I was diagnosed last year with a terminal illness and will give up work later this year. My home needs to be modified for me and this will cost around 20,000 euro. There is a government housing adoption grant which is means tested. Last year I earned over the limit of 60,000 by approx 7000. Wondering if anyone knows if the limit of 60,000 is exceeded is there any hope of getting the grant. For example I got a medical card due to my illness even though I exceed the income limits.
