House wired for Sky - how to connect

Hi all,

Yesterday I got an electrician in to put sockets on the wall for my flat screen TV's. TV's are all on the wall now. He set up all the TV's in the house ready for sky, all the wiring is done. Do I now have to ring sky to connect to the dish? I dont need the multiroom. He said that he couldnt do it because there was a lock on the sky dish. He said that I might have to get another sky box. I dont want to do this. Not sure how this works. The only TV with sky at the moment is in the sitting room.

Would appreciate any comments.

I am confused, can you explain a few things.

you say that the only TV with sky is in the sitting room, Does this mean that you currently have a Sky box, dish and subscription ?

If this is correct, then you only have the equipment and you only pay Sky for 1 TV. If you want to get sky working with another TV as well,
you will have to contact sky and get a multi-room subscription and the correct hardware.
 
There is no way of locking a dish! Sounds like your electrician doesn't know what he's talking about.
