Hi there,

Just wondering if people know of companies that would transfer a reasonably small amount of furniture(all sitting room and 1 bedroom) from limerick to dublin.

secondly how much would this cost?

renting a transit as previously discussed here would be far cheaper.
i was quoted €100 per day all in from enterprise in athlone or €75 if i sorted the insurance myself.
 
I have a friend that does this type of work.

Hi Jem,

who is your friend and what would i be looking at pricewise to move the following:

I would be Moving a 3 piece suite(quite large). A double wardrobe, with clothes. A tallboy, and cd Unit, 28 inch TV and stand. a 6ft bookcase and display cabinet with breakables.

Thanks ajapale, but i only have a small amount to move that it mightn't be worthwhile going to the larger companies! would they even be interested in a small amount like this and what would they be likely to charge?
 
Was wondering if you managed to get your furniture moved?
I'm in a simliar situation, small amount to move, but just within Limerick area. Thanks for the info!
