House Insurance & monitored alarms for rented out house

I plan to rent out my house for a year or more

The house has a monitored alarm but I wasn't planning on paying for that service while renting the house out.

What do others usually do in regard to monitored alarms when renting out a house ?

If you don't want to pay the the monitoring cancel it. The alarm will still work as a stand alone alarm.
