hotmail problems

Your account may have been hijacked..Happened to me a few weeks ago although my password wasn't changed...
 
Hotmail via Outlook Express works fine for me. Can't get onto the website though.
 
The website might be down but the service is not. I just sent a test email from another address to my Hotmail and collected it in OE. The other way works too.
 
RTE news are reporting a major hotmail failure affecting Ireland and parts of east coast US. After a frustrating day trying to get into my account it's nice to know that it's not my computer at fault this time (I hope!). Google had lots of stuff about what is being called the international hotmail outage.

I posted on it here but if you google webmail hijack or hotmail hijack you will see that its a very common occurance.....I don't use Hotmail any more.. For webmail I belive Gmail is better...Higher security levels (I'm sure Clubman could describe what exactly).....But it has totally put me off webmail!
 
I have no idea about Gmail being higher security that Hotmail. I have used Hotmail for years now and have had no security problems.
 
I have both Hotmail and Gmail and I find Gmail a lot better.
Nearly no spam at all and the features are better too.
