I would add sanitary products if relevant and dry shampoo (handy along with wet wipes if you can’t have a shower).

Re Water bottle - based on my experience of being an inpatient in recent years, every patient was supplied with a carafe and glass for water (both were taken and replaced by catering staff on a daily basis, so always clean).
Probably no need to bring your own.

A water bottle might be handy if you have to attend another department eg for xray/scan or be sent elsewhere.

My see thru bag with zip suggestion was not a plastic food bag but more robust, the sort toiletries might be put when traveling. See in Pennys.

I would have concern about relying too much on smartphone. In some sections of hospital their use is not permitted or am I out of date? I would worry about a fall from the bed and it being damaged so little radio would be useful.

Useful list ! maybe just print out and leave in the empty bag for someone to sort down the road.

If you're going to the Emergency Department and expect to be admitted I'd also being an inflatable bed and some long-life snacks.
