Home insurance after large claim

Asking on behalf of a friend:
Last year she had a bad fire. It was accidental and the kitchen was destroyed. Thankfully no one was hurt.

Insurance company paid out c€100k between rebuild and contents.

Now the policy is up and the current company refuses to even give a quote. No other company she had contacted will quote. As there is no mortgage on the property the banks aren't interested. Is there any company that cover cases like this? It's not like flood damage where there's a risk of it happening again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Who are the current insurers?

Could it be that they are pulling out of the market? if that is the case, perhaps a broker could help.

I would certainly write to the insurer and ask why they are refusing cover. Was their an issue with the claim regarding disclosures or cooperation? WE deal with number of specialist insurers and one should quote.
