hi folks. i have major problems trying to decide on heating system and would really appreciate some advise or info. i need to heat home and offices totalling 4000sq ft. my preference is for underfloor heating and geothermal, most likely ground source. some suppliers are quoting heat pumps of 14/16kW in size others say i need 3 phase power (which is not an option). some even offered 2 x 8kW pumps. our build spec is to A3 BER.
am not sure if i should consider looking at oil, wood chip or other options, drop underfloor etc
are there better alternatives?
at roughly 4000sqft will a single phase heat pump be enough and do i need support heating?
